4 Stars Hotel in Ireland is looking for Senior Chef de Partie. We have opened 3 vacancies: 2 in Athlone and 1 in Galway.
To be responsible for the preparation and production of all food in a specific section under the direction of the Head Chef.
To ensure good product knowledge.
To ensure that food quality is maintained throughout all stages- storage, cooking, and service.
To monitor weekly budgets and to meet agreed Food percentages.
To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the Kitchen.
To work in such a way as to minimise wastage.
To implement HACCP
.To operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures.
To ensure work methods are safe and that equipment and material are in good working order.
To use cleaning materials and chemicals as directed.
To carry out mis-en-place as directed.
To carry out the Hotel’s customer relations policy.
To communicate Hotel services to guests.
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
To wear relevant uniform and safety footwear at all times.
To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.
To carry out fire and accident drills.
To observe all safety rules and procedures.
To report and where possible, take action on incidents of accidents, fire, loss or damage.
A relevant third level qualification is desirable but not essential
Ability to demonstrate good food production.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Full time role, 39 hour week, 5 over 7 days. No night shifts required.
Accommodation will be provided for up to 3 months to allow the candidate to settle into role, assistance will be given to find accommodation locally thereafter.
