4 Stars Hotel in Ireland is looking for Senior Chef de Partie. We have opened 3 vacancies: 2 in Athlone and 1 in Galway.


  • To be responsible for the preparation and production of all food in a specific section under the direction of the Head Chef.

  • To ensure good product knowledge.

  • To ensure that food quality is maintained throughout all stages- storage, cooking, and service.

  • To monitor weekly budgets and to meet agreed Food percentages.

  • To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the Kitchen.

  • To work in such a way as to minimise wastage.

  • To implement HACCP

  • .To operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures.

  • To ensure work methods are safe and that equipment and material are in good working order.

  • To use cleaning materials and chemicals as directed.

  • To carry out mis-en-place as directed.

  • To carry out the Hotel’s customer relations policy.

  • To communicate Hotel services to guests.

  • To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.

  • To wear relevant uniform and safety footwear at all times.

  • To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.

  • To carry out fire and accident drills.

  • To observe all safety rules and procedures.

  • To report and where possible, take action on incidents of accidents, fire, loss or damage.


  • A relevant third level qualification is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to demonstrate good food production.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

  • Full time role, 39 hour week, 5 over 7 days. No night shifts required.

  • Accommodation will be provided for up to 3 months to allow the candidate to settle into role, assistance will be given to find accommodation locally thereafter.
